American Retro

I'm looking for some inspiration for decorating my bathroom. I want quite a masculine, American look. ?

I bought a cottage last summer and have just got around to starting on the bathroom. I have laid large black and white floor tiles and had chrome spotlights fitted in the ceiling. I quite fancy a blokey, American retro look but have no idea about colours etc. Help! Any links etc would be greatly appreciated.

I would stick to the black, grey and white colours, plenty of chrome and make any Accessories big and bold but keep it minimalist

or if you want more colour go for the black and blue, like the picture below
