What is the point of banning plastic grocery bags?
Is it environmental? I don't understand. I've heard that paper bags are still allowed. That kills trees. It doesn't make sense. You can say that those trees are grown specifically for use as paper but I don't know. It takes trees a much longer time to grow than the need for paper does. Bamboo would make more sense for paper. Anyway, is the reason environmental? Does the manufacturing of plastic bags pollute more than paper bags?
Well, plastic takes a long time to decompose. Paper, on the other hand, is a more natural resource that brakes down quicker. But paper does use trees and that's what's bad about it. Yes I am a bamboo expert and it would be a better choice for paper.
