chickin recipes any ideas for mine?

i got some same chickin called roaster breast ive washed them an put smoke rub on them i want to slow cook them what is the best way an the time when i do ribs i slow cook in oven at 225 for 3 hours with just rub on them then 2 hours with apple juice on them then the last hour Bbq Sauce on grill ill take any ideas ty

Your recipe sounds delicious. I'd tweek it just a bit by dribbling some melted butter on the roaster breasts just before starting to cook them. I, too, like to slow cook chicken, beef and pork. For roaster breasts, it sounds like you are going to over cook them by having them in the oven for too long. When I've tried this, the chicken is done after a total of about 2 hours. So, for your recipe I'd apportion that 2 hours between the "just rub" time and the "apple juice" time and then add about 20 minutes because you are opening the oven to apply the apple juice. I highly recommend that you get an instant read Meat Thermometer and use it to check on how done the chicken is. Those things come with recommended temperatures for adequately cooked meat. By the way, those things are not to be used in the meat in the oven. I melted one doing that. Thanks for the recipe.
