How do I lock the key pad on my cell phone?

I can't figure out how to lock the keys on me cell phone. I have a UTStarcom Super Slice. There is only one botton on the side and it is an up down button.

Usually to lock the keypad there is a button on the side to do it, but some phones do have a special way to lock the keypad such as pressing * on the menu screen. You can probably find out how to lock it in the manual for your phone, if it isn't in there, then you probably can't lock the keypad. Best of luck.
