Can I use co2 in a green gas airsoft magazine?

My dad doesn't want me to use propane or green gas in my airsoft guns but I want a gas blowback. I was wondering if I could just buy one of those co2 cans they have for paintballing and get an adapter for it and put the co2 in a gas magazine.

Well...yes, that would work, but I would advise against it. Even completely metal guns break when exposed to co2. The high pressure will break the O rings on the mag faster, and the metal can crack by the force. The sad thing about co2 is that the extra 50-60 fps, only gives you like 5 feet more range, it doesn't make it a better gun. In fact it makes it worse for CQB as being over 400 fps...usually isn't allowed.

If you have to use co2, I would recomend getting a gun that uses 12g co2 cartriges, the O-rings will not be an issue, however the co2 will still break your gun faster.

However, your question was only IF you can use co2 in a green gas mag. The answer to that is yes, but I advise against it. If I were you I would explain to your dad why it makes more sense to use propane, and get a regular GBB with a propane adaptor.
