How much is a red sox world series ring worth?

2004 world series ring.
I want proof of how much its worth, no guessing.
its the real ring, not a replica.

One of the 2004 rings was offered on eBay a few years ago -- one of the spare-part pitchers (IIRC, Jimmy Anderson) was trying to sell it for the benefit of some charity -- and while it didn't fetch the six-figure price being asked, the appraisal certificate was included in the auction pictures. What I recall was that retail value was a little over US$16,000. Adjust for inflation and that's around what an exact replica would cost.

An actual team-given ring would likely go for more, particularly depending on which player was engraved on the inside.
