Recipe on BBQ'n A Turkey?

Are you talking grilling, or true BBQ (low and slow)?

As lean as turkey is, it does not benefit from true BBQ treatment. But that doesn't mean you shouldn't put one in the pit. Open the vents and run the heat up around 325-350, and cook like you would in an oven. Smoke with any fruit hardwood, I'm a big fan of apple for turkey. Do not stuff, except with aromatics. If you're talking grilling, then I'd highly recommend spatchcocking the bird (cutting out the backbone and flattening it) to cook it on the grill. See this link for the wherefore and howtos:

Regardless of which approach you take, lean meat like turkey really benefits from being brined before being cooked in a dry environment like a grill/smoker. Read a great bit on brining here:
