Do you think a cat should be kept indoors or outdoors or be an indoor/outdoor cat?
I just wanted to see different points of view on this matter.
It depends on where you live. I live in a big suburb so inside is best. I see smashed cats everyday in the middle of the road. I hate it. So my cats stay inside. I have had outdoor cats in the past and they died young, one died of leukemia and the other one got eaten by a coyote. I know a few slip through and live longer but I also had a cat hit by a car, it was devastating. So my last two cats were inside only and I took them out on a leash. One lived till age 17 and the other one is 18 and going strong. They are fine as inside only cats. They are happy, healthy and content. They get lots of human attention and are part of a active household.
